![]() Yoga can set your life on a surprisingly new path. For myself, I started to become highly aware of what I was putting into my body. Highly aware that I am the caretaker of this temple. I started to make small changes that have added up to HUGE changes. Eating healthier, trying to become more active. I am aware of my body parts. I have thoughts of gratitude for everything inside of me, and for each part of my working body. - as before, I hardly gave these a thought. I took for granted that my legs would carry me, that my heart would continue to beat, that my eyes would continue to serve me. This..... and much more...... is what yoga has done, and continues to do for me. Heart + Balance![]() This year, I turn 60. Never have I considered becoming a yoga instructor before this past year. I handle making goals for myself by keeping them small, and then focusing on them. I try not to reach for anything that I already think is unobtainable. Well, something happened 2 years ago, when I decided to quit my job as a paraprofessional, move out of my home of 30+ years, became engaged, and started this business, Ready To Exhale. I find myself reaching for the STARS! I really think it began when I decided that from now on, I was going to pay attention to ME. I realized that for most of my life, I put everyone else's needs first. Yoga is such a gift. Not only to your body, but to your mind, and your well-being, both mentally and physically.
